FU MANCHU Cancel European Tour

FU MANCHU have been forced to cancel their European tour in the wake of the recent closing of their label, Mammoth Records, Stoner Rock has reported. The tour was to include UK appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as Bulldog Bash and an additional nine shows in four countries.

"Obviously this sucks," lamented FU MANCHU singer/ guitarist Scott Hill. "Our shows in Europe earlier this year were awesome and we were looking forward to coming back and playing. But our label closing has left us and the California Crossing record in limbo until we sort it out, making it impossible for us to do the tour.

"We are in process of sorting out the paperwork to get free, and sign a new deal," continued Hill, "and as soon as we do, we intend to release a live album, some of which we recorded in Europe earlier this year. Hopefully that will help make up for these dates being canceled.
